On y était presque !
Quoi ?

Hi, I’d be very interested to know more about your regimen. Over the last 10 years I had two long periods of chronical UTI with a few years of “break” between them (2 UTI’s a year is what I call a break). I feel I am beginning my third episode. A competent urologist follows my case but I want to put all the chances on my side to get rid of this nightmare. Any further help would be more than appreciated !
Hi Orianne, we sent you some more information by email. I hope it helps, Melissa

This is obviously a grave concern so really I was wondering what sort of steps we can take to get her better if she has an entrenched UTI? We have the means to order tests and see specialists although they would preferably be local due to her greatly reduced mobility.
Any insights or lists of specialists local to the south west of england would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Sophie
Hi Sophie, I hope you received the reply I sent to your email earlier. Please feel free to ask any questions there. I hope you find some answers soon. Melissa
Hey, your contact form is giving me errors so I will try and post here. This page is amazing and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
My Gran is 90 and has been suffering from what we suspect is chronic UTI for the last 6 months. Her mobility and cognitive ability has deteriorated during that time and she has been hospitalised twice for UTI. The first time she was hospitalised with delirium having complained of classical uti symptoms for weeks and months, but it was not picked up as a uti for 10 days of hospitalisation (due to negative cultures). She then recovered some what with 3 days IV antibiotics but was unwell again and deteriorating about 2 weeks later leading to a second hospitalisation now, during the height of covid.

It was comforting to hear I’m not alone in this. Would be great to receive more info about your regimen and advice on how to beat these recurrences. I get them like clockwork after intimacy and it feels so debilitating. I follow all the standard advice, take dmannose and cranberry, void frequently – and still, clockwork utis :(((

Hi Olivia, apologies for the delay, it’s fastest to get in touch via the green form above. I just sent you an email though, and we can discuss more there if you have questions. Melissa
Hello, could you provide me with some information about your regiment. I was shocked to see how much your story resembles mine (especially the struggle of always travelling and seeing different doctors, and the abundance of antibiotics). I’m 23 years old and have been having UTIs for 8 years. It started with UTIs every 4-6 months from 15 to 18, then UTIs every 1-2 months from 18 to 20, cycle stopped for a bit between 21 and 22, but mid 22 it re-increased and now I’ve been having UTIs every 1-2weeks. I have seen many general doctors, gynecologists, urologue, and my life feels like it’s all about UTI.. Today I’ve come to the point where I’ve been through so much pain in the past years that I am mentally getting use to it..
Hi Mia, I saw you sent us an email earlier, so I’ve replied to that with more info. I hope it helps. Melissa

Hey Melissa:). This page has given me some hope after endless UTI’s keeping me in constant fear and anxiety of when the next one will hit.
Antibiotics work temporarily, and then next month the UTI is back. Two years ago it spread to my kidneys, and I was in a very bad way so something needs to change.
It would be great if you could send your regime, because I drink crazy amounts of water, follow a healthy vegan diet, wipe front to back, pee after sex, don’t wear thongs anymore etc. but it’s just not working. Xx

Hi! I’ve been dealing with a uti that I haven’t been able to get rid of for the past month. It’s weird because there’s no pain, just a constant pressure but the doctors tests say I for sure have a uti. I’ve been on two courses of Nitrofurantoin now and still have symptoms and I am so sick of antibiotics so I’d love to know what you use!
Hi Jaylee, I just emailed you some more detail. It’s also important to consider that standard UTI testing is very inaccurate. You can learn more about that here. It could be an important piece of the puzzle. Melissa
Hi Melissa,
Thanks so much for sharing your story, it provides a lot of hope. Would love to hear more about your natural treatment regime. Any and all info would be much appreciated.
Best wishes
Leah

Hi Melissa! I’m so happy and grateful that i’ve come across this blog – thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m currently experiencing anxiety/depression as I haven’t been able to shake the symptoms of my last bad UTI (peeing blood etc) and I’m afraid of intimacy with my partner. I am so sick of being prescribed antibiotics. I was just curious as to what my first step should be to getting help naturally… Do I see a naturopath/holistic doctor? Was it just herbal medicines and supplements that helped you or diet changes too etc? Would love to hear from you xx Jamie
Hi Jamie, you’re definitely not alone! I just sent you an email with more information. I hope it helps. Melissa

I too have had a vicious circle of uti – antibiotics- uti and so it goes on. At my wits end. I am a young 60 yr old & work in a children’s nursery. I’ve had uti’s for more years than I can remember. My mum gets them too & she told me it runs in the family. Help.

Hi Hailey, I see you sent us a direct message too, so I’ve shared some more info that way. Susy
Hi and thank you for sharing your story and research. UTIs are becoming more frequent with me even though I’ve learned a great deal and have taken preventative measures. They usually come on with higher stress and less sleep along with a compromised immune system associated with pregnancy and postpartum. I have tried to treat them naturally with no success. It’s my birthday today and the antibiotic I finished earlier this week hasn’t quite done the job, so here we go again. I may also be pregnant now, and this problem tends to put a damper on the joy! I would be grateful to have your regimen. Thank you so much.
Hi,
Please can you share information with me. I’ve battled with UTI for years and really suffering.
Thanks
Lola
Hi Lola, I just sent you more information by email. Melissa

Can you please help. I’m from North West, UK. Had urinary symptoms for 3+ weeks now. Was given 2 lots of antibiotics that did not work. Was then told I did not have a UTI despite the symptoms. A swab was taken and I was told I have thrush. 2 fluconazole and a pessary later and the urinary symptoms have not gone. I have no other symptoms but this. I’m desperate to just get back to normality if you can please help. Thank you.
Hi Lauren, I just sent you an email with more information. I hope it helps. Melissa

Yes, please send me your regime! I’ve had so many UTIs recently and when I’ve spoken to friends about it, they’ve had only one or none in their lifetime and that blows my mind! I can count on getting only one every year if I’m lucky, but it’s usually 2-4 every year and it’s awful!
Hi Dylan, I see you also sent us a direct message and the team has replied that way. I hope you find answers soon! Susy

Hi Melissa!
Thanks a million for telling us your story. It was really insightful 🙂
My partner and I are trying for a baby (10 months and counting) and I have had a UTI like 3 times since we started, but this was the worse. Every time we go into the car, the pain and cramps come back. I’m constantly cold and In a horrible mood. No blood in my Urine but There was a discharge. Trying relax and drinking water not but nothing. Last time I tried to get a doctor’s appointment, the male doctor said over the phone that “Women think too much“ and I had to insist to be seen, luckily by a female doctor. Do you mind sharing your diet and the regime you are following? Thanks a million!!!!

Hi Donna, I just sent you an email with more information. I hope it helps. Melissa
Hello Melissa,
I’ve been dealing with multiple UTI’S a year, since April 2017. I believe I’ve taken every antibiotic known to man and still have issues. I live in fear of peeing because usually the first symptom I have is blood in my urine. No pain at the onset, just blood, and it’s ALWAYS a surprise…the pain follows soon after. The last UTI was a month ago and I ended up taking 2 different antibiotics back to back, to rid myself of the dastardly problem.
Can you please share your solution with me?
Hi Suzanne, I remember that feeling all too well. I just sent you an email with more insight. You can ask any questions there. Melissa

Hello, dear! I would give anything on earth to get your customed regimen. I myself been suffering from recurrent UTIS for 4 months now and I cannot take the pain anymore. I have had a cystoscopy and I have malakoplakia of the bladder…
Hi Sandra, I’ve just sent you an email with more insight into what helped me. UTIs are a very individual experience and no single approach will work for everyone, but I hope the information helps. Melissa
Hi everyone, very interesting reading. I am 28 years old who’s suffered UTI after intercourse every time. I have been referred to Urology and had a cystocopy to look into the bladder which the diagnosis is interstitual cystitis:( the pain Is taking over my life. Anbiotics dont work, I’m now in D-mannose which doesnt appear to be helping. I’m just trying to come to terms with how my life is going to be at such a young age. Just feel nobody understands the severity of the pain especially professionals.
Very hard to accept…don’t know where to turn anymore .
Hi Amanda, you might like to read our article on IC testing and IC treatment. You are also welcome to message me directly if you have any questions. Melissa

I have constant reoccurring UTIs that I am completely baffled about. I do everything anyone has suggested except estrogen and I got such terrible cramps with that I gave up. Various antiobiotics and now down to one I can use and it is too expensive. I am changing doctors but any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!
Hi Eleane, I just sent you an email with more info. As I mentioned above, I no longer take daily supplements to prevent UTI, the regimen I mentioned took me through to recovery and then I was able to stop. I still monitor my health and my nutrition on an ongoing basis. Melissa
I’d love your list of supplements or things that worked for you! You give me hope. I feel like I am on my way to being dx with chronic UTIs and I can’t handle it! Thanks

Hi Sarah, I replied to your email with more info. I hope you got it. Melissa
Hi, I have been dealing with recurring UTI’s for 4 years, and after a painful one 8 months ago, with multiple doctor and specialists visits and no real relief of symptoms since, I was just diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. My doctor is hesitant to try other testing alternatives and suggested installations. Would you be able to share your regimen? Also, are there any practitioners like Ruth Kriz in the Dallas, Texas area that are recommended? Thank you!
Hi Yan, I just sent you an email with information regarding both your questions. Let me know if you need anything further. Melissa
Hello mellisa can you please share your regimen thanking you

Hey thanks so much for sharing your story, it’s so weird, it kind of reassembles my life. I was 9 months free just to sadly got hit by another one, I’m still trying to figure out what caused it. Getting off the pill helped a lot though! I also wanted you to ask about your regimen and what you took that helped you. Would love to hear from you!
Hi Nina, it’s amazing how many people know what this is like! I just emailed you with more info. Melissa
Would love to hear about your regimen.. I was hoping I’d beat my chronic UTIs after months without sex (9 whole months without a UTI) but of course, one new relationship and the UTI’s are back with a vengeance
Hi Ty, sorry to hear that! I just emailed you with some information. Melissa
I’m currently on my second round of antibiotics for a really bad UTI. I’ve been struggling with them every few months for 5 years. Could you please send me your regimen. I am in such a dark and hopeless place with this.

Hi April, I just emailed you with some more information. Melissa
Hi Melissa, I sent a message on another post but wasn’t sure if that was the right place. Thank you for sharing your story, I see so many similarities with what I’ve been experiencing. I would love to know what regimen helped you overcome these symptoms and live a normal life! Sometimes I forget what that feels like! Thank you for your help.
Hi Nikki, I got your email too, so I’ve replied there with more detail. I hope it helps. Melissa
Thank you so much!
Hi there, thanks for sharing and I’m glad that you successfully deal with it. Currently, having one right now. Every 2-3 months the same story with antibiotics…it’s always frustrating, especially that keeps me away from cycling…I would greatly appreciate if you share your regime. Many thanks!
Hi Ana, I just sent you an email with more information. I hope you can get back to cycling soon! Melissa
Hi Melissa, thank you for sharing your experience.. I have the same problems since I was 23.Would love to see the regimen that worked for you. I am tired of antibiotics and currently searching of an alternative way to cure this thing.. thank you so much in advance.
Hi. I would like to learn more about your regimen. I thought I had my own regimen that worked without antibiotics but the UTIs are back. Granted the pain has lessened but truly annoyed that I can’t seem to prevent them. I have also thought being on the pill and my diet (vegetarian) might be a cause. Would love to learn and discuss more.
Hi Vivian, I saw you also got in touch via the form above, so we can chat more via email. Melissa
Hi Marita, I just emailed you with more detail. Feel free to ask any questions there. Melissa
Hi Melissa, I too am a sufferer, please send me your regimen. Thanks!!!
Hi Susan, I saw you sent me an email too, so I replied there with more insight. Melissa
Hi Melissa,
I was diagnosed with IC earlier this year. I would not say I was a chronic sufferer of UTIs or anything before that. I would get one every two years or so, if that. But now that I have IC, it’s hard to differentiate between symptoms of a UTI or a flare. I haven’t had an IC flare in months, but today, I’m having all the symptoms. I sent urine off for a culture, but I have spent the last few months trying to rebuild my microbiome because I was given continuous rounds of antibiotics that I did not need before my diagnosis. My body has gone through a LOT. Even if I do have a UTI this time, I would prefer to avoid antibiotics. Can you share your regime with me? Thanks in advance!
Hi Mallary, I just sent you an email with more information. You also might like to read our information about Interstitial Cystitis testing and IC treatment, as there a few angles you may want to consider. Melissa
I’m in my 3uti this summer and this isn’t normal.

Hello, I have been having recurring cystitis symptoms for years ever since I was 11 I’m now 23 and still get them, no doctors know what it is. my urine samples come back negative they put me on antibiotics that stops it for a few weeks then it comes back the next month, I’m getting to the point where I feel like killing myself because nobody can help me with the pain. I do not know what I can do:( please let me know how you got rid of yours thank you
Hi Amber, I just sent you some more information, including links to articles that may shed some light on what you are experiencing. Melissa
Hi Sue, I saw you also sent us an email so I’ve replied there with more info. I hope it helps. Melissa
After a bad UTI cleared up with antibiotics I have since over the last few years had ongoing UTIs flaring up every few months. Having researched probiotics I just bought a microbiome women’s blend and then found your article. I’m wondering what sort of herbal antifungals and antibacterials you take? Thanks 🙂
Hi Jemima, I just emailed you with more info on that. I hope it helps. Melissa
Good Evening, my husband just came across this website for me as I have been suffering from the same ailment fo years now and it has affected my daily life and my anxiety has too, also been almost unbearable as well from it. Like you, my frequent UTI’s have gotten worse to the point now where they are constant. Every doctor I have been to swabs to see if I have an infection and they always come out negative and I leave again hopeless and disappointed that I will never live normally again. Seeing your post has given me hope that I can too defeat this. I would love to know more about your regimen that helped you. I appreciate your time and I am grateful for your story.
Hi Danielle, I can sympathise! I just emailed you with more info and we can discuss more there. Melissa

Hi Kate, I saw that Christine sent you some more info in response to your email. I hope it helps! Melissa
Melissa,
I would love to know what deficiencies you decided to get testEd for and info on the regimen of supplements you took that helped. I’ve always suffered from uti’s but this year is worse than ever. Your story started to sound like what I’m starting to go through.
Thank you for sharing
Chantel
Hi Chantel, sorry for the delay. I just emailed you some info. Let me know if you have any questions. Melissa
Hey Melissa, I currently have a UTI. The antibiotic made me sick, vomit, made my skin sore to touch, gave me joint pain. I stopped it and am so scared to take another. Would love to see your regimen.
Hey, Melissa, could you email me more details about how you got rid of your UTI? I just got my first UTI and it won’t go away. I’m scared that it will be a recurring one if I don’t do something about it now. Thank you so much.
Hi Medea, I saw you sent me an email too so I’ve replied there with more info. Melissa
Hi Angelica, that does sound scary. It’s always best to let your doctor know if you experience side effects, if you haven’t already. I sent you an email with more information about my own experience. I hope it helps. Melissa

I’ve been on antibiotics too long. Males can suffer with this too but it’s not as common. Pls share some insight on this.
Hi Jon, you are right and we do hear from other males who experience this. I just sent you an email with more detail about my experience. I can also share other resources if you have questions. Melissa
Hi Melissa i was just reading your story and i also have recurrent UTI I especially have them after my periods or menstrual cycle. I have sent off so many urine samples and there all for mixed organisms and they usually give me antibiotics I am at my so disheartened and frustrated
Hi Sarah, I just sent you an email and we discuss further there. I can sympathise with how you feel! Melissa
Hi Corree, I know how you feel. I just sent you an email with more info. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Melissa
Hi, i would love to know your regimen- ive been on the chronic UTI train since i was like 10, now 30 – i take vitamins, cranberry supplements, drink plenty of water and recently on my 3rd UTI in 2 months. So frustrating!!!!
Hi Darcie, I can sympathise! I just sent you an email with more detail. We can discuss more there if you have questions. Melissa
Thank you for sharing your story. I also had recurrent UTIs and yeast infections before my son was born. I did not go back on birth control after he was born and was amazed to find that the symptoms began subsiding. However, in the last couple of years, I have begun having horrible problems with my period. The doctors always suggest BC, but I do not want to start taking it again and trade one problem for another. I would love to hear about your regimen and what worked for you.
Hi Courtney, I just sent you some further detail by email. I hope it helps. Melissa
I Would love to know more about the regimen that worked for you?
Hi Rose, I just emailed you some more info. I hope it helps. Melissa
Hallo Melissa,
can you send me a pm for the regime and Supplemente you used?
Thanks so much, Christine
Hi Christine, I just replied to your earlier email with more information. Melissa
I’ve been suffering with UTIs for years (had a break of several years, but now I’m back at it) and I’m suspecting it has something to do with vitamins & mineral deficiency. I’m love to get to know more about your regimen and see how I can adopt it to my needs x
Hi Roselina, I just emailed you with more information and we can further there. Melissa
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Since I was little I have been battling urinary infections for over 10 years now. Your words mean a lot to me as the emotional battle you describe that comes along with this is something I’m extremely familiar with. I was constantly being put down by doctors and NP’s that there was something more than a UTI. I’m so tired of taking antibiotics and tests, only for the pattern to cycle again. I would love to receive the list of products you use in your regimen to fight your UTI’s, as I am very desperate at this point to find something that might help fight my own battle with UTI’s. Again, thank you so much for sharing this as it is extremely comforting to hear I am not alone in this.
Hi Amy, I agree, it’s a huge emotional battle at times. I just emailed you some more detail. Let me know if you have any questions. Melissa
Hello! I would love to learn about your regime as well! In hindsight, I now notice that I stopped getting UTIs after quitting birth control pills many years ago, but I recently got two UTIs in the last 4 months. I’m thinking an unhealthy diet may be a large part of it. I’m taking D-mannose now, hoping that will help, and have been taking daily vitamins and drinking more water. I have urinary tract targeted probiotics on hand, but haven’t started taking them with the D-mannose yet. Thank you so much for sharing your story!
Hi Jenny, that’s interesting about your experience with birth control pills. I just emailed you with some more info. I hope it helps! Melissa
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for sharing your story. Always good to know we aren’t alone! I have never had issues with UTI’s until 3 months ago. I got a raging UTI and took an antibiotic. The burning with urination went away but the urgency and frequent urination is still insane! And 4 urine samples later…..all negative for infection….they say I am clear. But I know there is still something there! I would love to see more about your protocol. Please? And thank you. God bless!
Hi Wendy, you’re definitely not alone! I just emailed you with more information but you also might like to read our article on why your UTI tests may be negative, despite your symptoms. There’s some very useful info in there. Melissa
Thanks so much for sharing your story! I’m 31 and only got a UTI every few years for most of my life, but this most recent one does not seem completely resolved after the antibiotics. I’ve also struggled with BV and yeast at different times – was given antibiotics for various things really often since childhood and agree that bc of that, the Candida can be a huge culprit. I’d love if you could please share the details of your regimen! I’m all about adopting a more natural, clean and healthy lifestyle however I can! Can’t say thank you enough for sharing your experience!
Hi I would love to know your regimen,I have been getting UTI’s for many years. As soon as I get done with the antibiotic few weeks later another is back. I am so darn frustrated. If you have any information I would appreciate it. I would love my life back.
Hi Ann, I just sent you an email. Let me know if you have any questions about the details. Melissa
Hi Amy, I’m glad you could relate and found it helpful! I just emailed you some more information. Melissa
Hi there I would love to know your regimen, I’ve been battling UTI’s for years now and I’m completely over it! I woke up with the start of one today but before this one I’d get them at least 1 every 3 months, today had been over a year without one and I’m not sure what happened, will be documenting this for future reference though.
Hi Susan, I just sent you an email with more information. I hope it helps. Melissa
Would love to learn more about the regimen that works for you. I have tried everything, much like yourself and still have reoccurring UTIs and have since I was a teenager.
Hi Misty, I emailed you more info. I hope it helps. Melissa
Thank you so much! Your story is exactly the same as mine and you’ve given me hope that we can live a life free of them. It seems like I have tried everything, but I haven’t tried taking supplements. You’ve just given me hope that my future may be brighter! x
Hi Melissa, can you please share you regimen? ive tried allot of things and i dont want antibiotics to be my go to

Take care.
Hi Daniella, I saw you also sent me an email so I’ve answered all your questions there. Melissa
Hi melissa, pls send me your regimen..this would be a great help for us who suffered uti..
Hi Geniza, I just emailed you some more information. Melissa
Please, I would be so grateful if you could share with me how you rid yourself of this horrendous affliction. I’ve had sporadic ones through adulthood but after a house fire & moving into temp accommodation that was less than ideal when we moved in, I’ve pretty much suffered with a constant UTI and Thrush for 6 months, with just a small break of 10 days in between when I took a week course of anti-b’s which in turn caused another bout of Thrush.
Thankyou and so glad you’ve overcome this in your life!
Hi CJ, you’re amazing for getting through all of that! I just sent you an email with more information. I hope it helps. Melissa

Hi Melissa, I would love to hear more about your regimen. I am working with a functional med who didn’t necessarily diagnose me with candida but proposes that is an issue that could be causing UTI/bladder infections along with other GI symptoms. He hasn’t really provided me a thorough enough protocol, so I would love to hear how you healed yourself. Thank you!
Hi Cassie, I just emailed you with more information. I hope your current approach results in improvement! Melissa
I would love your help and info!!
Hi Krystin, I just emailed you with more detail. Melissa

Hi Monik, you’re right, it’s incredibly frustrating! I sent you an email with more info. I hope it helps. Melissa

Currently, having one right now, taking Keflex symptoms subsided somewhat yesterday but came raging back last night. On my third day of a seven day regimen. Hoping for relief soon. Hi. Just like everyone else, I was searching for a cure for my recurring BV. I’ve been struggling with Candida, yeast infections, UTIs and BV for about 3.5 years now. Over time, it only got worse. My current infection has lasted almost a month now. It smells awful and I’m scared to drink water while at work, in case I can’t stop what I’m doing every 20 minutes to pee!
Please send me your regimen.
I would really appreciate it!
Thank you.
Hi Amy, I’ve just sent you some information by email. It’s always best to discuss symptoms with a doctor of course. Melissa
Thank you for sharing your story, Melissa! I have struggled with UTIs from time to time since childhood. I’m now in my early 20s and my issues with UTI symptoms have become much more frequent over the past few years. I have been exploring various supplements and products for home treatment and would love to hear more about what works for you.
I get them every couple months. It’s terrible. If you could share your regimen that would be amazing!

Hi Jaycee, I’m glad you enjoyed reading it. I just sent you an email. I hope it helps. Melissa
I stumbled upon this website searching the internet for a cure for my constant BV and yeast infections. When I was a teen I had constant UTI’s. That changed to yeast infections almost all the time. I went from that to now BV. I have had BV now for 4 years straight. The antibiotics clear it up but 2 days after I’m done with the course it comes back. No doctors have ever been able to help me cure it. I still get UTI’s every 6 months or so but the vaginal itching is constant. I have had some luck with boric acid suppositories but have to use them every other day. I know I have a PH imbalance and I have often wondered if I have candida overgrowth. I have tried many probiotics and nothing seems to help. I would really like to know what worked for you. Thanks.
Hi Raquel, I know how frustrating it can be! I just sent you an email. We can discuss more there. Melissa

Hi Deanna, we sent you an email earlier with more insight. Please check your spam if you don’t see it. Melissa
thank you got the email. I will try this . I think I have been on and off cipro so long now that I have yeast and UTI also . I think the Yeast feels like a UTI also. How much oragano do you take a day for maintenance ? I have been on D-Mannose for years . Have changed my diet to keto for the last 8 mons. so heading in the right direction.
Hi Deanna, it’s been more than four years since I recovered from this chronic UTI experience. I don’t take maintenance doses of anything now. I do continue to take certain supplements to support my diet and immune system and I use certain products to avoid UTIs around sex. Everything else, I was able to stop using altogether. I’ll send you an another email with more info about that. Melissa
I’ve been struggling with recurrent UTIs for years, would love to see what you did!
Hi Holly, we sent you an email earlier with some more info. I hope it helps. Melissa
Hello,
I’m a rare post on here since I’m male, but we do suffer too. I was diagnosed with IC many years ago and have suffered very much over the years. Antibiotics always help my IC symptoms and I begin to feel normal again. Once off the antibiotics – symptoms return. I need someone to help figure out what’s going on. Can you suggest anyone around Atlanta, Georgia who I can work with?
Thank you in advance, Patrick
Hi Patrick, we hear from a lot of males, and you’re right, this is not female specific. We’re working on some male-specific content. I just sent you an email with some more information. Please check your spam if you don’t receive it. Melissa
I have been suffering from UTIs every few months for the past 4 years. I have periods where Im ok for around 3/4 months but then, they hit again. Sometimes symptoms are bearable but still, this is impacting my whole life. I have tried countless antibiotics, remedies, I have seen many doctors, I had many tests done along with ultrasounds and nothing. Im going to the urologist today to try get some answers and break the cycle, but Im hopeless.
Hi Paloma, I can sympathise with how you feel. If you find the urologist isn’t able to help, feel free to send me a direct message and let me know where you’re based so I can share some options. Melissa
Thank you for this post! I recently suffered from an UTI, I took a course of antibiotics but either my body was resistant to it or it came back, because a week or two later my urine test showed bacteria still. I just finished my second course of antibiotics but I still feel the symptoms of frequent urination. I’ve decided perhaps to stop the antibiotics for now and look at some natural options such as Cranberry and D-Mannose. Would love if you could give me any more information or tips because I really just want it to go away already….
Hi Sam, there are a number of reasons that an antibiotic may not work, and it’s best to speak with a doctor about it. You might like to read more about UTI testing and UTI antibiotics. I’ve also sent you some more information about my own experience. Melissa

Please Melissa, I’ve been suffering from recurrent UTIS for over twenty two years now. Each time the culprit is Group B strep, I am beyond fed up with taking antibiotics and then antifungal meds following them. I’d love to hear of your regime and products you have used to help alleviate this vicious cycle.
Hi Amy, it is a vicious cycle! I just emailed you some info. Check your spam if you don’t see it. Melissa
